I will be adding more images to this page soon. My trip to Afica has given me photographs and memories to work on for years or at least until my next visit...which I hope will be soon.
This is the first painting from my trip to Kenya, Africa. What a trip!!! I will return as often as I can. This Impala with a Tick Eater on his back was one of the last animals I saw close up as we left the Masai Mara game preserve to head back home. The light of the early morning halloed them and made them almost shimmer.
This guy won best of show at the Mercedes Invitational in CA.
I saw him when I went to the San Diego Wild Animal Sanctuary in Escondido. This particular giraffe followed us around and finally I was given a carrot and told to let him take it out of my mouth. His long black tongue curled around it and he removed it without touching me. Wish I had photos of that.
At the moment this painting is in Los Angeles. If you want to purchase it please contact me so I can make arrangements for crating & shipping.
It is framed in a gorgeous, heavy, custom frame.
This cheetah was very pregnant and after having just made a kill was looking for a place to give birth. Cheetahs are not strong enought to defend their food and so must hunt every day, they must also find a safe place to rear their young.
